Anika Noni, an American actor and singer. She's best known for portraying Tiana Disney's very first African American princess In The Princess and the Frog. Disney Legends identified her one of the 2011 Disney Legends. Rose was in the role of Lorrell Robinson on the Academy Award-winning film Dreamgirls. Anika Noni Rose (born September 6 1972) is an American performer and actress. Most famously, she is known for playing Tiana Disney's first princess of African descent in The Princess and the Frog (2009). In 2011 she was honored as an Disney Legend. She is also known for her starring role as Lorrell Robinson on the Academy Award-winning film Dreamgirls (2006) and for playing her character LaVerne JUKEBOX Ganner on The Starz show Power. Also, she is known for her performances in theatre particularly in her leading roles as Emmie Thibodeaux in the Broadway production of Caroline or Change (2004) in which she was awarded the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical and Beneatha Younger, who played A Raisin in the Sun, the Broadway adaptation of A Raisin in the Sun (2014) in which she was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play.

Her fame was boosted when she joined the popular cast of M.T.V.'s award-winning. Jersey Shore (2010, a couple of episodes) during seasons one and two. Angelina Pivarnick not only is known as a reality show performer, but also a very talented singer and rapper.
